Android Installation
Under settings for application, the option to allow installation of non-Market
applications (unknown sources) must be enabled.
In the web browser on your Android device, go to codatech.us,
go to the download page and click the link for the KuKu package for Android.
When the download completes, open the download folder, click on the KuKu package,
and click on install.
Note:
The specific navigation for the above steps will vary on different Android devices.
To run:
Click (or touch) the KuKu icon.
Login on the Android device does not require a password.
Remote access from other computers will require passwords (see the configuration page).
The back button on the Android menu bar will terminate KuKu.
The home button on the Android menu bar will leave KuKu running in
the background. Return to KuKu using the KuKu icon.
MS-Windows Installation
Create a folder for the KuKu application.
In the web browser, go to codatech.us,
go to the download page and click the link for the KuKu package for MS-Windows.
Save the file to your KuKu folder.
To run:
Open a command window.
Change (cd) to the kuku folder.
Enter the command: kuku
(A shortcut will be created on the desktop to perform the above steps).
Your system security will probably ask if you want to allow this program
to run on your system, and if you will allow it to access the internet.
You must give approval or it will not be allowed to run.
When the server starts, note the port number the server is using.
Minimize the window and leave the KuKu server running in the background.
To access KuKu, open your web browser. Enter address http://127.0.0.1:9999
(replace the 9999 with the port number for the server).
From other computers, enter the address using the ip address of the computer
running the KuKu server.
